Tall, dark and handsom is the best way to describe Juan! He is an absolute sweetheart and I couldn’t have been more thrilled to capture some headshots for his acting and modeling career. Juan has lots of experience in the acting world prior to his move to Nashville and I think any agency that lands him here is extremely lucky! I was so fortunate that when I donated one of my sessions to the Sumnar Academy Auction to raise money for the school, that this young lady won the bid! Ashlyn is definitely one of a kind, she has such a gorgeous regal look about herself and is extremely confident. When we met for coffee to chat about her style I knew immediately that we would get along perfectly She brought an array of fashionable clothes and amazing dresses, I was in photography bliss! Ashlyn was a natural in front of the camera, we had a great afternoon with perfect weather at Spring Haven Mansion in Hendersonville. I absolutely loved capturing Ashlyn’s personality and I’m thrilled to share these photos with you! I hope you enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed capturing them!

Christina’s Senior Session | A Bold Beauty

I am excited to feature another one of my sweet girls that I taught at TDF for several years today! I have absolutely loved watching Christina grow from a quiet little girl into a beautiful confident young woman. This young lady has beauty, brains and a creative side as well. She loves theater, hence the awesome stage we found in down town Nashville! ( A huge thank you to the amazing staff at Two Old Hippies for allowing us to use your facility!! ) Christina is such an intelligent young woman, even as a wee 7th grader I could see she was full of potential, always going the extra mile and I’m pretty sure I never caught her without a book in her hand. I love her personality, maturity and her desire to serve the Lord. It has been an amazing ride seeing you grow before my eyes! You will always be one of my heathens, no matter how old you get I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed capturing them!

The Vignon’s Family Session | A New Addition!

I don’t think there is anything I love more than photographing families that I know and love. Travis, Laura, Ella and Henry most definitely fall into that category. I have known Travis & Laura for nearly 10 years, since I was but a wee Sophomore in High School and they were Seniors. I have witnessed their life and love grow over the past 10 years from high school sweethearts, to husband and wife and now their latest roles, as mother & father. Their journey as parents started with Ella and now their newest addition Henry has arrived Our afternoon was full of laughs, watching Ella’s dance moves and her musical stylings from Wicked While sweet Henry took in the scenery, enjoyed several naps and got a full belly. Travis and Laura, I am so incredibly thankful to call you friends and seeing your family grow over the past several years has been absolutely beautiful to watch. Thank you for all the encouragement you guys have given me over the years, I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed capturing them!

Lynette and Gene’s Love Story | The Wedding Day!

I was absolutely thrilled when Lynette contacted me about capturing her wedding day. I have known her family since high school and I knew immediately that February 11th was going to be a special day that I without a doubt wanted to be apart of Lynette and Gene met through The Moonlighters, a big band here in Nashville. Gene directs and plays trumpet while Lynette’s lovely voice serenades the crowd. Their wedding day was a winter wonderland, full of sentimental touches. These two are so in love and it is so beautiful to witness. From the moment we sat down to chat about her wedding day Lynette was full of so much joy and couldn’t wait to marry her best friend. After Lynette & Gene’s first look we were taking photos and Lynette & Gene couldn’t stop smiling and looking at each other. I mentioned how in love they were and Lynette just smiled and said, “we’ve waited our whole lives for each other”. And that statement summed up their wedding day perfectly. It was a fantastic celebration for two people who finally found true love. Lynette and Gene, I can’t thank you enough for choosing me to capture your big day, I hope you enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed capturing them I pray the Lord blesses your marriage and that you can cherish everyday together as much as you cherished this one. A Year in the Life | Braylen’s One Year Session!

It’s so hard to believe that I have now been documenting the Bullington family for over a year! It all began when Christy was pregnant with Braylen, we met up take some family photos and from then on they just couldn’t get rid of me Intently documenting the Bullington’s and having the opportunity to literally watch Braylen grow before my eyes has been such an amazing experience. Coming into their home for the past year and seeing the way their family loves, interacts and lives has been absolutely beautiful to witness. The level of comfort and trust that Chris, Christy, Autumn and Braylen have entrusted to me is unspeakable and I couldn’t have asked for anything more from them Braylen’s one year session was full of fun and lots of sugar, of course! We did some of Braylen’s favorite things like playing outside, eating a TON of cake, taking a bath and getting to snuggle in the bed with mom, dad and sissy. We had a ton of laughs and as happy as we were during the session I found myself sad to leave, because I knew this was our concluding session for Braylen’s Year in the Life. I know this will not be my last time photographing the Bullington Family and I can’t wait to see the next several years of their life unfold as Autumn enters High School and Braylen enters his toddler years. Thank you for allowing me into your lives, you have truly been a blessing to me! As always, enjoy! Lee Ann & Mike’s Engagement Session | The Real Thing

I was super excited when I received an inquiry from Lee Ann about her fall engagement session! She and Mike have a great sense of humor and really know how to make the other one laugh and have fun. They brought their super sweet Chihuahua, cleverly named, Chihuahua haha and I laughed so hard when they got her to “sing” for us. It was amazing, I really needed a video. We laughed a lot that afternoon & through all the laughter & I was able to witness just how much Mike and Lee Ann love each other. These two really get each other and I love the way they show it! Mike and Lee Ann thank you so much for choosing me to capture these memories for you! I decided to save the log roll & single ladies dance just for you guys to view haha. You two are amazing, I’m so grateful to call you friends now! I hope you enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed capturing them!

Katie & Bevan’s Family Session | A Lot of Love

It has been such an honor to work with Katie & her amazing family over the past few months. Katie and I have known each other through the pageant / modeling circuit here in Nashville for a while now and when I had the opportunity to second shoot her wedding with the fantastic Gregory Byerline I was ecstatic. Katie & Bevan’s wedding day was nothing short of a fairy tale and I loved being able to witness such an amazing day. Through our time spent together Katie & I quickly realized just how much we had in common and I was thrilled when she contacted me about capturing her family photos this fall. On a slightly windy but beautiful day at Percy Warner Park we laughed, walked the pups & came out with some amazing photos. With a family that loves each other as much as they do, it’s impossible to get anything less! I fell absolutely in love with their fur children, Teddy ( the little guy! ), Oreo ( you can tell which one that is! ) & Riley . I couldn’t have asked for a better afternoon with you all & I’m so blessed to count you as friends. I hope you enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed capturing them!

Michael’s Senior Session | Strong & Confident

Next up on the list of awesome High School Seniors I have had the opportunity to photograph is, Michael! If any girls out there are wondering, are there still any good guys left? I can confidently say that Michael is one of them! Micahel is a great guy, confident, athletic, loves the Lord and had a great personality. We had a great time during his session, he plays the guitar and is pretty talented on the soccer field so of course I wanted to incorporate those things into his session. Michael & Lauren ( click here to see her feature! ) are both graduating this year and going off to college, so like any two sweet siblings they even joined together for a few shots at the end of the day, which brought a huge smile to their Mom’s face Thanks so much for letting me capture such a big milestone in your life Michael! Ryman’s Baby Lifestyle Session | A Day in the Life

This family is another example of how blessed we have been through what the Lord is doing at Resonate Church. Matt, Lauren & Ryman came into our lives not quite a year ago and we feel as though we have known them our entire lives. I had the pleasure of spending the entire afternoon with Ryman one day & I couldn’t stop smiling the entire time I was with her. She led me all over the house, watching her favorite Disney shows and then upstairs playing with her favorite toys and of course her favorite puppy, Zoe Ryman loves Zoe and like any loyal pup Zoe plays along and lets Ryman love her to death, even if that means pony rides around the house and wearing blankets for the afternoon. Ryman’s sweet personality makes spending time with her such a joy, she is growing so fast and I can’t wait to watch her go from toddler to young lady. Thank you for this sweet baby girl Matt & Lauren! Hope you guys enjoy these as much as I enjoyed capturing them
